Internal renovation to include wall removal and internal layout change to create large open plan area for family dining and entertaining guests.
Internal renovation and bespoke kitchen installation including gas fire.
Duration: 4 weeks.
Kitchen and dining room wall removed and rolled steel joist installed to supporting wall. All services replaced with combi boiler removed ready for new unit in separate utility room.
Separate utility room created with stud walling and new door aperture. Services for new combi boiler, washing machine and vented tumble dryer moved to utility room ready for installation.
Rolled steel joists covered with fire check plasterboard and ceilings prepared for plastering. New wiring for spotlights ran throughout ceiling void with additional sockets added to new kitchen area.
New modern vertical radiators installed with rooms plastered and floor lined with plywood. Bespoke kitchen installation commenced with island feature to house induction hob. New doorway aperture to entrance hallway created and full mains wired fire detection system installed throughout escape routes on all three floors.
New gas fire installed in wall mounted aperture with flue liner and chimney cowl.
New architrave and skirting board installed and primed ready for full internal decoration. Faber Heaven ceiling extractor installed above induction hob located in island.
Kitchen installation complete with quartz worktops, integrated appliances and glass splashbacks. LED spotlights installed in ceilings with electric roller blinds on bifold doors for privacy.
Spring oak Karndean flooring installed with lifetime guarantee.
New remote control gas fire installed and commissioned finished by quartz stone surround matching the kitchen worktops.
Entrance hallway re-plastered and decorated in matching theme creating natural flow to open plan kitchen diner.
New solid oak doors throughout.
Room finished with LED television screen visible from all areas of this fantastic new space.
